Teodora "Teddi" Minagro's Obituary
Teodora “Teddi” Minagro passed away peacefully in her home on July 27, 2024, at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by her husband Mario, her parents Vicente and Petra Mesonero, and her ten siblings. Deeply loved by her children who surrounded her in her final hours, she is survived by her son Tommy, daughters Elizabeth and Liliana (Richard), son Nabor “JR,” and daughters Evelyn (Lourdes), and Jo-Ann. Teddi is also survived by her four grandchildren, Joseph, Dana, Tommy (Kathleen), and Nicole, five great-grandchildren, Marin, Nora, Luke, Bennett, and Elliot, her sister-in-law, Margarita, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.
To know our beloved mother is to understand that, aside from the love of her life Mario, her children, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally, were the driving force of her life. Every sacrifice she willingly made was in service to the betterment of her children. She was our moral compass and north star, and her legacy lives on in each of us.
Our mother demonstrated immeasurable resilience and courage and accomplished so much in the face of humble beginnings and great adversity. Having never abandoned her love for learning she went to night school while caring for 6 children, obtained her GED later in life and, deciding that was not enough, sought a college degree. Being a natural born healer, she pursued a career in Nursing, where she was of service and inspiration to others for many years. She was truly our role model and hero, and we love her with all our hearts. Though she is no longer with us, and her embrace will be deeply missed, her light and spirit remain very much alive in our hearts.
To honor our mother’s memory, donations can be made to Hospice or a charity of your choice.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, from 2:00 - 4:00 with a prayer service at 2:30pm. Baldauff Family Funeral Home located at 1233 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763
