My grandmother was and always will be an inspiration and guiding light in my life. In the face of adversity she used her wealth of drive and compassion to make a life she and her family deserved. I was always so proud to share her story and how much strength she had, how much I had looked up to her and her self-empowerment. With endless love and affection, she always made me feel incredibly cared for, that I made her proud, and that I was capable of anything and everything. We had endless fun when she cared for me growing up, sharing memories we’d often reflect upon and laugh at together. These are memories I will cherish and think fondly of, always. I’m forever grateful to have felt as much love as she gave to me, and lucky to have shared all the years so close to her.
Grandma, I love you and will miss you incredibly. I know you’ll always be watching over me and are with reunited with Grandpa once again. And for that, I can’t help but smile. You’ll always be the woman I admire.

In my heart, you will always be my beautiful Madre Teddy. I treasured every moment with Madre Teddy and her family. I am so blessed to have shared great memories. I will never forget on one of her birthdays, I put a birthday crown and sash and let her know she was a queen. She cheerfully agreed. She knew her children loved her immensely as well as her family and friends. Every hug and kiss she gave was special to me, I felt so loved.
