Marco 'Mike' Anthony Aiello's Obituary
Marco “Mike” Aiello was born April 8, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York and died on January 10, 2011 (90 years old) at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange, FL. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Evelyn Aiello and his Chihuahua, Sunshine; his mother, Mary Aiello; and his father, Charles Aiello.
Mike and Evelyn dated for five years and were married for 62 years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Mike loved to spend time with his family and he was an avid baseball fan. He also enjoyed watching anything sports related.
Mike and Evelyn were semi-professional bowlers who had the opportunity to bowl with Gill Hodges (Professional baseball player for the Brooklyn Dodgers).
Mike was a Corporal in the US Marine Corps during World War II serving as a Gunner in the battle at Okinawa. When he returned from the war, he worked as a die setter/machinist at the Ideal Clamp Manufacturing Company until he retired.
He had three children, son, Michael (predeceased, 1981); daughter, Linda and her loving husband, John Richdale; daughter, Judy Aiello; and step-daughter, Linda Mickenberg; grandchildren, Joseph Schroeter, and Shea Schroeter; sister Agnes, and her loving husband Bernard Nagel; sister, Mildred Aiello (predeceased) and nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and cousins.

The memorial will be on January 19, 2011 at Baldauff Funeral Home at 2:00 PM at 1233 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL.
