Linda, I always felt that Mom & Dad were my parents to me, as we were growing up.
I know Dad is in a better place, and I will miss him.

O.k. dad, I think that I am ready to say good-bye to you. I know that it has been a couple of days since you left us, but I needed to collect my thoughts. I know that we talked at length when you fell six days before you passed. You told me what your wishes were and I told you that I would honor them. It was tough dad. Since I was the last born I had missed a lot, but with that, since we lost mom and you moved in to my home we had such a bond. We became like you and mom; happy, sad, yelling, crying. You got to bond with your grandchildren, Joey and Shea and Linda gained another "dad". You were a super dad. Teaching me to play softball, putting up with me learning the saxophone, buying me boy toys when mom wanted to buy me "barbies". You and mom were with me every step of my growth even into adulthood. I hope that you are now again with her, Michael, your loved ones and of course your loving devoted little dog "Sunshine". I hope that they all there to meet you as you enter the next part of your journey. I hope to see you again one day. I will miss you so much dad. I know that you were not one for the "I love you too", but you told me and I believe you. You are and always will be and inspiration to me. Oh, and thank you for fighting for our country in our time of need. I am proud of you and proud to call you my father. Always and Forever...your little girl...Judy
Rest in Peace MIke. To a wonderful family, may his memories warm your hearts!
