Dear Serrano Family,I first met your Dad at the Port Authority NY/NJ Academy in 1974. We were trained by the Academy for work in the civilian ESU squad at the Lincoln Tunnel. Years later we both became Police Officers. Jose was a great guy and had a very funny sense of humor. He was also a strong willed man who expressed himself well. A good Cop, a good Partner, and I'm sure a great father. He will be missed. May his soul rest in Peace in God's hands.
