The Finley's have been such an inspiration to me. They were so supportive when my husband was having countless health problems. They were right there when I needed them.
When we all get to heaven and are reunited with Jesus and loves ones what a day of rejoicing that will be.

I have just received a note from Eric and Sandy of the passing of dear Gloria who passed away Dec. 11.
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I know you will miss the saint of a mother and grandmother.
May we all be comforted by the blessed hope and the Lord's soon return.

Appreciated the time that she spent in Deltona in our Sabbath School Class. She often had a termendous insight as she added to our discussion of our S.S. lesson. She would often close our lesson with prayer...which conveyed the deep relationship she had with her Lord. We shall always be indebted to Jim as he taught our sabbath school lesson with a lively style and humor that would draw out participation. He and his wife frequently added to the spiritual thoughts of our class...lessons which will never be forgotten. Thank you for your example of the Christian life. Gloria will respond to the call of the life giver. We will miss her with her many happy expressions.
Jim and Gloria always arrived early for Sabbath School at Deltona Church. We arrived about the same time. I will miss her smile and the hugs. We also enjoyed many pot luck meals together after church.
We had the 55 Plus Club at our house and will never forget how much Gloria loved Scrabble. They even brought their own deluxe Scrabble game and thick word finding book.
On the inter-net I found the book "Nobody's Boy" and enjoyed reading it. I couldn't help but know that God had a plan for Jim and Gloria's life. They were faithful to God and raised four beautiful children. "Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her" Prov 31:28.
I will miss Gloria very much! But I know that someday I will see her when our King, Christ Jesus, returns with all his angels to awake all them that are asleep in Christ. As I walk in Gloria's footsteps with this terrible disease, I too must keep my eyes fixed on Jesus for those who suffer with Christ shall be glorified Him. Rom 8:17
