Blessing to all the family and Desmonds children. I am so glad I got to acknowledge his presence and passing and to learn that was able to live his life with love and family. We met in 1970 at my brothers commune in Warwick. He was always a special and good man.
I emailed Desi not too long ago. We spoke by phone. He sent a great video of the kids playing together. Danny and Brian and Amy with Michael and Na'alie. We spent years and years together at their trailer in Vermont , Family outings and with the Tiltons.
I just never knew he passed. I just never received a response. My love goes out to all of you as Desi was a stable person in our life.
We all loved him. We went to many a church gathering and prayed together for many years.
He is in the hands of God now...

My life is richer for having known Desi. I will miss him dancing. I will also miss our theological "discussions".

Desi Brophy will be sadly missed by anyone who ever experienced his wonderful sense of humor, gentle demenor, his ideologies on life in general and especially his love of dance. My deepest sympathy goes out to all his family members and loved ones.4

Dear Desi, you will be for ever in my heart and memory the noble gentleman who was kind, thoughtful, compassionate, funny, and always whilling to help. A special friend who was allways there with a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, giving wise advise or a lending hand with a project.
Desi was a strong man of integrity and character, who was as passionate about his dancing as he was about his family, his friends, and his faith. He was not afraid to speak up for what he believed in, and he always did it with dignity, respect and a sence of humor. I will miss my dear friend and dance partner very much.

Desi,
A strong, protective, God fearing Christian man, so gentle and kind. The most loyal friend one could have. Desi was always full of questions.He loved to make us think and get us going round and round on an issue.He would just laugh and those brown eyes would twinkle. He had a wonderful dry sense of humor. We have so many wonderful memories of Desi.
Desi will be remembered as a man well respected and a wonderful dance partner. We have been Blessed in so many ways by Desi`s friendship.He demonstrated to us what a man of good character looks like
