William 'Ike' Premo's Obituary
William E. (Ike) Premo of Debary, FL and formerly of Burke, N.Y., passed away November 18, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Westville, N.Y. Sept 14th, 1930, he was the son of Ernest J. Premo and Ann O’Neil Premo. Ike was a 1949 graduate of franklin Academy in Malone, N.Y. In his lifetime he worked as a farmer, and at Reynolds Metals and retired there after 34 years. Ike loved cars and took pride in caring for all of them. He was particularly fond of Pontiacs. A sports fan he loves to watch baseball, hockey and basketball. He loved working outside and he took pride in his keeping up in home. He enjoyed country music and square dancing. To the delight of his children, Ike was a man of humor and delighted his family and friends with is in own brand sayings. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Ike was united in marriage to Marilyn Flynn on January 23, 1954. She survives. He is also survived by seven children: Bonnie (John) Orlando of Daytona Beach Shores, FL; Nina Walker of San Diego, CA; Tracy (Jeff) Taylor of Apopka FL; Martin Premo of Orlando, FL; Mary Claire (Steve) Ikenberry of Mechanicville, VA; Thomas (Leslie) Premo of Daytona Beach Shores, FL and Michelle Premo of Orlando. Three brothers and sisters-in-law: Cecil (Rita) Premo of Burke, NY, Ernest (Joyce)Premo of Westville, and James (Sandra) Premo of Westville. He is survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Karen Rose in infancy and a sister Beatrice Kirby. A Mass will be held at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Debary, FL on Saturday November 28, 2015 at 11 am.
