William D. Balthaser's Obituary
William Donald "Bill" Balthaser passed away at the age of 92 on December 2, 2017. He died peacefully in his sleep following a brief illness.Bill lived a full life. He was born on September 6, 1925 to Clara (Eckert) and Guy Balthaser. He was a world war II Navy veteran who proudly enlisted on his 18th birthday. He and his wife Barbara (who preceded him in death) lived in Delaware, Ohio for many years where he owned Mr. Bill Studio and later worked for Western and Southern Life Insurance Company. They had an active social life but Bill's greatest joys were playing poker and golf.Bill will be greatly missed by his children, Don (Cheryl) Balthaser, David Balthaser, Ann Balthaser and Amy Niven, his six grandchildren Kimberly, Kelly, Joel, Christopher, Luke and Samantha, and two great granddaughters.A service will be held in Deland, Florida on December 6, 2017. He will be buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware, Ohio this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity.
