William Blaine Akers age 83 of Deland, Florida passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022. William was born in East Leroy, Michigan the son of Lilah and Charles Akers. William is survived his children; Mary Baird, Jo Burt, James Akers and Ed Akers. Brother; Mike Akers. Sister; Patricia Edwards.8 Grandchildren and 20 plus Great-Grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his wife Ruth E. Akers in 2017. William was a USAF-retired Master Sergeant, member of the VFW, enjoyed golf and wood carving.
