Vivian V. McNichol's Obituary
Vivian V. McNichol, 83, of DeLand, passed away on December 22, 2017. Vivian was born on December 20, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She spent much of her life in Syracuse, New York and Florida, but never forgot her Italian heritage growing up in Philadelphia. Vivian had a kind and generous heart, and loved traveling, shopping, and spending time with family. She had a talent and affinity for fashion, style and decorating trends. A woman of enormous Catholic faith, she also enjoyed cooking, and will be remembered by all for her delicious Italian meatballs and sauce. Each of her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren occupied a special place in her heart. The daughter of the late Felix J. Vizzachero and Josephine Giordano, Vivian was preceded in death by her sister Sandy Poulos, nephew Christopher Poulos, and great-grandson Anthony D. McNichol VI. Vivian is survived by her husband of 60 years, Anthony D. McNichol III, son A. Drew McNichol IV (Erin), daughters Maureen R. Bruno (Kimberly), Tracy M. Bolden (Tim), and Melissa A. Beebe (Steve), brother-in-law Jack Poulos, and niece Alexandra Poulos. A Funeral Mass will be held on January 7, 2018 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximilian Street, Deltona, FL 32725. Memorial donations may be made in Vivian's honor to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.
