Thomas Mark Kothera's Obituary
Thomas M. Kothera, 75, of DeBary, FL passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011. He was born on July 20, 1936 in Cleveland, OH to parents Carl and Genevieve Kothera. He moved here from his hometown in 1985. Mr. Kothera worked in sales and was able to retire in 2005. Thomas was a friend of Dr. Bill’s (42 years) and spent countless hours volunteering his time to the community helping those who suffer with substance abuse. He was a faithful member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church for the past 8 years. In his spare time Thomas loved to work in his yard, go fishing and watch the Orlando Magic basketball team play on T.V. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend. Thomas will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his only son, Tommy Kothera (1999). He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Connie Kothera; daughter, Tammy Ann McDade (Bailey); brothers, Donald, Ed, Joseph Kother; sister, Jean Petrice and his beloved grand “dog”ters, Bella and Sophie. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood Trail, DeBary, FL with Father Peter Henry officiating. In lieu flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Ann’s, Alive With Christ Fund. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Baldauff Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
