When Sue and I were in kindergarten together we would walk home from school together each day. Sue was allowed to walk past her home until we reached the corner of Sunnyside Avenue and hwy 50. Then I I would walk on to my house and she would turn around and go back to her home. This was a big deal for us to do this, and we did it every day, rain or shine. Over 70 years ago.
She was a good friend.
