Shirley A Schildwaster's Obituary
Shirley A. Schildwaster 86, of DeBary passed away on January 14, 2019. She was born on June 29, 1932 in Rochester, NY to parents George & Margaret Short Rider. Shirley is survived by her husband Neil L. Schildwaster; children, Mark (Sandy) Schildwaster, Dawn (Ted) McIntosh Oglesby, daughter in law Mary Ellen Schildwaster; sister, Carol Ryan; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, David J. Schildwaster; brother, Donald Rider. Shirley was a retired registered nurse with Genesee Memorial Hospital in Batavia, NY and a member of Women’s Sodality at Batavia Resurrection Parish. She enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Riverwalk Church of Sanford, 801 west 22nd street, Sanford, Fl 32713. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s school, 2 Summit Street, Batavia, NY 14020 or Notre Dame High School, 73 Union Street, Batavia, NY 14020.
