Shirley Mae Fisher's Obituary
Shirley Mae Fisher, age 84 of Deltona, Florida passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Deltona following a period of declining health.
Born July 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Nettie Whitenack.
She formerly worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Residential Services Aid, retiring after 19 years of service.
Shirley enjoyed sewing, quilting, and reupholstering furniture. She also enjoyed Bingo, Traveling, spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed life, and made friends quickly, many of which have remained friends for life.
Shirley is survived by a son, James Arnold of Wadsworth, Ohio and daughters, Cindy (Joe) Parsons of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Robin (Anthony) Gillotti of Debary, Florida, Shara (Michael) Savasta of Deltona, Florida as well as daughter-in-law, Marsha Fisher of Mt. Dora, Florida.
In addition, she is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Angie Arnold, Jeremy Kimes, Kristen Compton, Ryan Fisher, and Nicole Savasta and Melisa Savasta.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Harry Fisher; son, Kerry Fisher; grandson, Brent Fisher, and brother, Larry Whitenack.
A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
