Ruth Mary Powers Frohmiller's Obituary
Ruth Mary Frohmiller, 92, of Venice, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, October 24, 2011. She was born on August 9, 1919 in Woodhaven, Queens, NY to parents Joseph and Madeline (“Nellie“) (Ruttger) Powers. Ruth moved to Venice, FL in 1981 from Deer Park, NY. She was a member of Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL and worshiped at Sts. Cyril & Methodius in Deer Park, NY. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her loving husband, Robert E. Frohmiller in 1976; son, Robert D. Frohmiller in 2009; brother, J. Donald Powers in 2011; and nephew, Scott Powers. Ruth is survived by her son, Deacon Richard L. Frohmiller and wife, Lynne; daughter, Nancy Smith and husband, Raymond; daughter, Jane Byszkowski, and husband, Richard; daughter-in-law, Margaret (Peggy) Frohmiller. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (G-G) and aunt. A memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date. Inurnment will be held at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
