Rose Marie Miller's Obituary
Rose Marie Micelli Miller, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her home in Deltona, FL. Rose was born in Kane, PA on May 22, 1947 to Angelo A. Micelli, Sr. and Elizabeth A. (Battista). When she was a small child, her family moved to Syracuse, NY. Rose was a 1964 graduate of North High School. Shortly after high school, Rose met Donald Kent Miller. They married in May 21, 1966 and moved to Cicero, NY. Surviving are her children: Donald Kent Miller, Jr (Mari Beth) of Fulton, NY; Lisa Barling (Roy), of Deltona, FL; David Miller (Lorie), of Palmer, MA; and Elizabeth Milea (Frank), Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She was also blessed with several grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Rose is survived by her two sisters and brother; Gloria Micelli of Deltona, FL, Mary Maiorano of Buffalo, NY and Angelo Micelli, Jr. of Alexandria Bay, NY. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Donald who passed October 17, 2014. In addition to raising four beautiful children, Rose owned and operated her own business, “Rose Miller's Custom Slipcovers” for 35 years before retiring to Florida with her husband. There, Rose volunteered with the City of Deltona as Mrs. Easter Bunny and Mrs. Santa Clause. Rose was a people person and loved children. When she entered the room, the room would light up with her love. She was truly a kind-hearted, caring, energetic person who would give her last breath for anyone that needed it. She will be deeply missed by all. She was our Angel on Earth. Per Rose's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation per her request to your charitable foundation.
