I was extremely saddened to read of Rogers's death. We were close for several years in Plattsburgh....my mother loved him dearly and always wished more.......I am now so happy that we connected several years ago and got a chance to catch up. I am so sorry for your loss, Denver, and also to the others who shared Rogers's life.
Your smile and laughter will always bless my memories. It has been years since our school years but one cannot forget you. You were always a gentleman, wished I could I have seen you at the 50th class re-union. Our paths will cross again,
I want Tina, Denver, & Pat, along with Tommy and the rest of the family to know, I feel your pain. Roger is with us in spirit. We will miss his laugh, jokes, smile and all that went with his unique personality. He was a one of a kind. Although we departed 8 years ago, we remained in touch through the 19 years of history together, we continued to stay in touch. I have always loved him. As my mother used to say, "what's not to love?". Tina, Denver & Pat.... Stay strong and be open to his presence. He loved you so much. In time you will laugh and smile about what a character he was. It has been great having you as a best friend since we met in an upper-state New York bar (where else???) back in 1968. We shared some great times over 54 years, and Jeanine & I will truly miss you.
