Rodney was one of my best friends growing up in DeBary. We drifted apart after getting in to trouble but I always had the best hopes for him to pursue his dreams of being an electronic/computer whiz. Looks like he achieved those goals in life. I regret that I found this obituary too late in life to reconnect with him,

I used to work with Rodney at Qsecure in Los Altos, CA. I considered him a friend, and we had a lot of laughs together. He was a good person with a good heart. He was also a good engineer. I am really sad to hear of his passing, but I'm glad the pain for him has passed. I will think of him often as the years go by.
Rodney I want you to know you are such a one of a kind guy; I will always remember you. You were always a man of his word and respect was always something you taught me no matter how far we took things to the limits. The "balance" amigo is what I am still learning to this day.
