Robert Oshinski Sr's Obituary
Robert Oshinski Sr., a proud Vietnam War veteran, passed away peacefully at his home on August 1, 2025, at the age of 87.
Born on April 9, 1938, in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, Robert dedicated his life to service—first to his country and later to his community. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, before being honorably discharged.
Following his military service, Robert continued to serve others through his work as a Growth Management Technician with Volusia County, where he brought dedication and integrity to every task.
Robert was a man of faith and a devoted member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Outside of work and church, he enjoyed spending time at the bowling alley, where he found both joy and camaraderie.
He is survived by his loving son, Robert Oshinski Jr., and granddaughter, Jessica Almodovar. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma.
Robert’s life was marked by duty, quiet strength, and devotion to family and faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
