my grandfather was such a wonderful man, he and my grandmother were lights in my life, and they showed me what love was and that it could last an incredibly long time if you put time and energy into each other. I always told them that hoped i'd find someone that i could have that long lasting of a marriage with, and i was delighted to find that someone and be able to invite my grandfather to it months before he passed. I wish i had gotten to say one last "i love you" and i wish i had called him more once i had moved to Arizona to be with my husband. truly such an honest, kind, and lively man with the worst dad jokes ever. i always said "i guess the dad jokes get worse the more grandchildren you have" and he thought that was hilarious. i love you papa, and I'll see you in heaven soon enough
