Robert 'Bob' J Powers' Obituary
Biography
Robert Joseph Powers, a best friend to many and a husband to his loving wife and children, passed away unexpectedly June 12th, 2010. Robert was born in Columbus, Ohio where he attended Eastmoor High School. His father, Robert H. Powers proudly served his country. His father passed away when he was 21 and his mom, Florence Shuttleworth, to leukemia when he was 7. Kimberly and Robert met at Mount Carmel East Hospital where Kim was a candy striper and he worked in housekeeping. Kim delievered her water pitchers to patient rooms, and Bob repeatedly tried to take them from her thinking they were his. Since the first time he saw her it was love at first sight. Shortly after that they were married and Kim gave birth to their first born children, Cameron, three short years later, Chelsea was born and completed the family of four that have been inseperable ever since. The love they have for each other will never die for it shall only grow stronger. The memories are left, and nothing will seperate them. Keep smiling down so we know that in the toughest times, we will pull through. You're now our angel and we know that even in heaven you're going to take care of us. There is not going to be one day that passes that you don't cross our minds, you're always going to be a huge part of us. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Kimberly Powers; his son, Cameron Powers; his daughter, Chelsea Powers; and his sister, Debbie Judy.
"A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, that he only takes the best"
