Rebecca (Becky) Ruth Kennedy's Obituary
Rebecca (Becky) Ruth Kennedy, 84 of Debary passed away on May 30, 2021. She was born on August 29,1936 in South Charleston, WV to Frank and Crosby Pearman. Becky is survived by her husband Irvin C. Kennedy, also of South Charleston, WV; children, Michael D. Kennedy and wife Leeann of Debary; and Steven C. Kennedy of New Smyrna Beach; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren that are truly all over the world. This is not unique to Becky as she travelled the world with her husband Irv as he served in the United States Air Force at many locations including Massachusetts, Taiwan, Oklahoma, and Illinois. This continued into civilian life where they also resided in Maryland and Saudi Arabia before finally retiring to sunny Florida. Becky was very involved in the kid’s schools doing anything from assisting on the buses to helping out in classes to baking cakes for birthdays. She kept the home-front running during the many TDY missions Irv had to go on. She truly was Irv’s “Wingman.” Becky retired as a Realtor for Century 21. She enjoyed watching golf and football, surfing the internet and Facebooking with her friends and family. Becky loved her holidays and went all out to ready her house and yard for the occasion. She loved her family and friends with a fierce passion not easily matched. But, for sure, one of her favorite activities was the Friday Breakfast club with her closest friends. Visiting hours are 5-6pm, Friday, June 11, 2021 with a 6pm Memorial Service at Baldauff Family Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Fl 32763.
