Panke Murphy Jones 58, or Sanford passed away July 30, 2015. She was born on October 2, 1956 in Deland, to Elizabeth Hill Green and Steven Murphy. Panke worked at Seminole State College for over 33 years. She enjoyed caring for others and serving the community. She is survived by her husband, Elige Jones, and her children Liza T. Jones, Elias E. Jones, and step-daughter Jenny L. Jones. She also leaves behind her brothers Earnest Byrd, and Robert Clyde Thomas, sisters Janie Mae Green, Willie Mae Jones, Foethel “Cherry Brown” Yetta Murphy. Donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice and American Cancer Society.
