Nina Christine Atwood's Obituary
Nina Christine Atwood, 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. She was born on June 16, 1921 in St. John’s, Newfoundland to parents Weston and Blanche (Bursey) March. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping and playing at the casino. Nina loved to cook for her family. Her children remember her making fresh bread every morning and cooking everything from scratch. Her daughter still has fond memories of her and her mother rolling out the dough for pie crust. Mrs. Atwood is preceded in death by both of her parents, brothers, sisters and loving husband of 58 years, Albert Atwood in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Robert) Hoeft; sons, Albert Atwood and Robert Bruce Atwood; brother, Fred March; sisters, Bernice Holmes, Margaret Penney, Judy March, Carol March and Sandra March and grandson, Brian Hoeft.
