Mildred E Flewelling's Obituary
Mildred E. Flewelling, a late resident of Burt and Chesaning, Michigan died in Orange City, Florida on October 4, 2020. Mildred was born on November 12, 1928 to Myron L. and Shirley M Swart (Ennis) in Mt. Morris, Michigan. She grew up and resided in Thetford Twp. alongside her sister and brother. On August 5, 1950 she married Harold R. Flewelling, and together they raised 5 children while residing in the Clio area on Gennessee Road by Buell Lake. Mildred was preceded in death by two sons Richard H. and Rhudolph J., her sister Sylvia Attinger (Swart), and her husband Harold R. Flewelling. Surviving her are her brother Fred O. Swart of Gloucester, Massachusetts, and her remaining children Donald E. and Laurie (DeBoe) Flewelling of Casa Grande, Arizona; Donald F. and Sylvia D. (Flewelling) Brown of Orange City, Florida; and Larry D. and Garna (Flewelling) Parsley of Hope Mills, North Caolina; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A special acknowledgement is also given to Rosemary Reiber of Chesaning, Michigan for her considerate custodial care of Mildred and her possessions’. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service and celebration of her life will be announced and take place in spring 2021.
