Maxine Florence Whitehouse's Obituary
Maxine Florence Whitehouse, age 74, went to be with her Lord February 12, 2011 peacefully with the family at her side. Maxine is predeceased by her son, David Alan Whitehouse. She is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Whitehouse; Daughters, Janis S. Borowka, Laurie L. (Michael) Fewless , Susan J. Whitehouse, and Judith A. (Butch) Van Ham; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Boss; sister, Mary VanWyck; and many dear relatives/friends.
Maxine was a prolific writer and avid gardener and worked at Old Kent Bank back in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a Senior Teller/Loan Officer. She also was a loving mother and a best friend & wife to her husband.
Family will be receiving friends Tuesday (Feb. 15) from 2-5 at the Baldauff Family Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Blvd., Orange City. The service will be held Wednesday (Feb. 16) 11AM at the Faith Baptist Church, 1200 Providence, Deltona. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Halifax Health Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
