Matthew Carl Shinn,35 of Edgewater, passed away on October 13,2024. He was born July 20, 1989 in Jacksonville, Florida to parents Steve Shinn and Jennifer Cordoba. Matthew is survived by his Mother, Jennifer Cordoba and her husband Guillermo Cordoba; Brothers, Brad and Sara Shinn (Camden and Carter), Trai and Abbie Shinn (Cooper and Caroline), Chase and Bri Shinn (Sophie); Grandparents: Gary Johns and Nana Carole and Larry and Georgia Teague; Aunts, Sherry Teague, Diana Kornetti, Jacqui Kury, Diana Bakai and Karen Johns; Cousins, Dani, Scott, Brandon, Kayla and their families as well as numerous other family, friends and Marine brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by his Father Steve Shinn; Uncles Johnny Shinn and David Johns; Mamaw and Papaw Shinn and Grandma Johns. Matthew worked for Space X as an integration technician and served 7 years in the United States Marine Corps. Matthew was a Gearhead who loved riding his motorcycle and all things Florida Gators. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday October 18, 2024 from 4:00-6:00PM at the Baldauff Family Funeral Home 1233 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, FL. Funeral service will take place 10:00AM Saturday October 19th at Baldauff Family Funeral Home. Donations can be made to your local AMVETS.
