Matilde Diaz age 85 passed away January 29, 2025. She was born December 15, 1939 the daughter of Ysmael Diaz and Dulce Baez in Bani, Dominican Republic. Matilde is survived by her husband Juan Mejia. Children: Dulce Cohen, Salvador Cohen, Matilde Cohen, Kirsys Mejia-Antonio and Karina Risano. Brothers: Manuel Diaz and Ysmael Diaz. Sisters: Anneris Diaz, Dulce Diaz, Nancy Diaz (deceased).20 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. She was employed by Oscar dela Renta for many years in Men's neckwear. Matilde was a member of the Orchid Society of StoDgo, Dominican Republic and also enjoyed gardening and travel. She was cherished beyond words and will be profoundly missed, her love and warmth forever etched in our hearts.
