Mary V. Spicer's Obituary
Spicer, Mary V, 96 passed away at her home on Monday August 20, 2012
She was born on February 2, 1916 in Newtown Ct. to Stephen and Elizabeth Rockwell.
She was predeceased by her husband’s Donald Higginbotham and George W Spicer, grandson Gregory Jones, brothers Carl, George, Jesse, Halcyon, William, John and Benjamin Rockwell, sisters Elizabeth Fohl and Martha(Pat) Matzelle.
After relocating to Florida from Connecticut she was an accomplished artist who enjoyed several other crafts. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.
She is survived by daughters Susan Mezzoni , Lake Mary Florida, Blanche Higginbotham, Shelton Connecticut, Roberta (Bobbi ) Higginbotham Lake Mary, Florida, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sisters Vivian Williams, Kinderhook, NY, James Rockwell, Sandy Hook, Ct. Vera Coghill (William) Edinburg Scotland and several nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes in Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Vitas Hospice of Orange-Seminole Counties Florida.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baldauff Funeral Home Orange City, Florida
