Mary received her High School Diploma from Parkside High School in Jackson, Mi in 1978 and served in the United States Army. She enjoyed arts and crafts-custom angels, spending time with family and friends, finding and sharing treasures, party planning and collected dolls, snow globes, angels and figurines. Mary was a member of Hydrangeas and Council of Catholic Women at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona, Fl. She was a beacon of light in a somewhat dark world. She was a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, grandma and best friend. She loved God with all her heart and his love shined through her and brightened the lives with those who knew her. Her smile touched everyone. She held no grudges. She was one-of-a-kind and an example for all. She refused to let others drag her down-though many have tried. God called her home, we don’t know why the Angels sing welcome her star shines bright. Remember her always, she said not to cry Mimi my sister lives on in our hearts but without our light beacon the world is dark. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00am, Friday, September 6, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximilian St, Deltona, FL 32725 to follow at 1:30pm Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 U.S Highway 1, Mims, Fl 32754 with Military Honors.
