Mary Katherine Wooldridge's Obituary
Mary K. Wooldridge, 69, of Deltona, FL passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. She was born on August 30, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to parents Laurence and June (Foster) Waldrip. Mrs. Wooldridge moved to the local area, in 1973, from Cleveland, OH. Mary retired, after 25 years of loyal service, as an Accountant for Sherwood Medical Industries. The proudest job title that she held was “Mom”. Mary was the Troop Leader for her daughters’ Girl Scouts Troop. In her spare time she was an avid reader and loved to cross stitch. Mary was known as the “Family Historian” and made a genealogy book for her family, her husbands’ family and for her mothers’ side of the family (Foster). Mary loved to travel. She has been on 39 cruises and has seen Hawaii, 3 times, Alaska and all the islands in the Caribbean. Her children will always remember the Holidays with their mother and how she would go the extra mile to make it special for them. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a “True Lady” thru and thru. Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents and is survived by her loving husband, of 50 years, Norris E. Wooldridge; daughters, Laurie (Norman) Morefield and Christine “Chris” Wooldridge; grandchildren, Shane and Kaylee Morefield; sister, Barbara (Howard) Mack. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in the Baldauff Family Funeral Home Chapel, 1233 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL. A funeral service will be held in honor 11:00 am Thursday, September 29, 2011 in the Baldauff Family Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Shane C. Gaster officiating. Entombment will immediately follow the service at Deltona Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
