Mary Edwina Washer's Obituary
Mary Edwina Washer 91 of Deland, formerly of Debary died on Monday April 6th.
She was born in Shady Grove, Crittenden County, Kentucky to
Richard Roscoe and Minnie Jane ( Hunt ) Pickens. Mary is survived by her daughters, Linda ( Billy ) Morgan from Debary, Fl. and Brenda ( Henry ) Harding from Lebanon, TN; son, Winfred Washer from Lafayette, TN.; daughter-in- law, Bonnie Washer from Toronto, Canada. 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, and her sister. Mary was a member of Debary Baptist Church where she was very active with missionary work and in the church kitchen. She loved to quilt, sew and make wedding books. She was a clerk in the fabric department for 17 years at Wal-Mart in Orange City and 22 years as a waitress at the 4…B’s Restaurant in Debary.
Memorial Service will be held at the Debary First Baptist Church located at
32 S. Shell Rd. Debary, FL on Friday April 10th at 2 PM. Burial will be a Pleasant Hill Cemetery Shady Grove, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society.
