Mary Belli's Obituary
Mary Belli, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Nashville TN. Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Lila and Louis Dilegame. Mary lived and raised her family in Brentwood, Long Island, NY, and was employed as a local bank teller. Mary and her family moved to Deltona FL in 1984. She worked for Cracker Barrel in Sanford, FL, until her retirement. She and her husband relocated to Cookeville, TN, in 2009.
Mary leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Thomas Belli Sr. of Cookeville TN. They were married in St. Annes Church, Brentwood NY on October 7, 1962.
Mary leaves her sister Susan Kirby, Long Island, NY.
Mary had one brother, Gregory Dilegame (preceded) .
Mary had five children, Donna, Debra (David preceded) Zechnowitz, Richard (Lisa) Belli, Thomas, Jr. (Lisa) Belli, and Michael Belli.
Mary had thirteen grandchildren, Teisha Hayes, Lila Hayes, John Hayes, Eric Hayes (preceded), Linda Rivera (preceded), Lisa Rivera, Stephanie Belli, Dinah Belli, Maia Belli, Lindsay Schramm, Joseph Schramm, Jessie Zechnowitz Lim, Lillian Zechnowitz Orozco.
Mary had eleven great-grandchildren, Dylan, Tommy., Gianna, Desiree, Gabby, Robyn, Mikey, Rowan, Vivian, Iris, and her namesake Mary.
Mary was especially close to her niece Gina Dilegame Williams, her nephews Louis Dilegame, Patrick Kirby, John Kirby, Scott Kirby, David Kirby, and their families, all of Long Island, NY. and her cousins Fred Goodman of DeLand FL and Charles (Lisa) Tarantino of Port St. Lucie FL.
Mary loved family gatherings, vacationing and most of all decorating for the holidays.
She will be dearly missed by all who have known and loved her.
A Visitation will be held from 4-6pm, Monday, November 14, 2022 with a 5:45 Prayer Service at Baldauff Family Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon blvd, Orange City, Fl 32763. A Funeral Mass will be held 10am, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximilian Street, Deltona, Fl 32725. Interment to follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, Fl 32763.
