Marion "Tom" Mitchell 95, of Deltona passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016. He was born on March 13, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois to parents, Omer and Angeline Mitchell. Marion is survived by his wife, Marie L. Mitchell; children, Robert (Karen) Mitchell, Larry (Linda) Mitchell, Daniel (Sue) Mitchell and Alan (Cathy) Mitchell; Grandchildren, Nathan Mitchell, Brian Mitchell, Nicole Walter and Samantha Mitchell; Great-Grandchildren, Railyn Walter, Ellie Walter, Chaz Mitchell, Natalie Mitchell and Ava Mitchell. He is preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Mitchell; Sister, Leona Kucera. Marion was a retired U.S Navy Veteran and a member of VFW, Rail road club and Veterans of foreign wars. He enjoyed wood working.Visitation will be held, Friday, December 16, 2016 11am-1pm with a 1pm Funeral service officiated by Rev. Ben Stilwell-Hernandez at Baldauff Funeral Home, Orange City, Florida 32763. Graveside service at Hollywood Cemetery. Donations may be made to VFW or Hospice of Volusia County.
