Marilyn Ruth Goodwin's Obituary
Marilyn Ruth Goodwin was born on May 10, 1942 in Niagara Falls, New York to Dorothy Cooper Whitacre and Maxwell Whitacre. Marilyn passed away on January 2, 2015 at the age of 72.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Ernie Goodwin, her three children Lori Little, Buddy Bernhard, and Yvonne Metheny, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. She was the youngest born of five children, survived only by her older brother Charles Whitacre Sr. Marilyn enjoyed boating down the St. John’s river, camping in her RV at numerous blue grass festivals, traveling around the country, karaoke singing, Red Hat lady society events, and anything else fun with family and friends. Marilyn spent 20 years with the love of her life, Ernie Goodwin, and had a special place in her heart for her children and grandchildren. She was always very caring and fun loving. She was known for her smile, which was always there to light up a room. Memories of Marilyn will live on in all of our hearts. She created many great memories for her family and friends, was loved by everyone she met, and will be missed by many.
