Marie E. LaRosa's Obituary
Marie E. LaRosa, 95, of Deltona, Florida passed away on January, 28, 2012. She was born on March 5, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Stephen “Frank” LaRosa; two brothers, Vincent F Allegro and Joseph M. Allegra; and her sisters, Grace A. Vardaros and Concetta G. Prato.
She is survived by her nephew, Frank Vardaros (Jenisa), their child Marla Rose; her niece, Maria Karabassis (Danny) their children, Kosta, Frank and Grace and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was a wonderful cook and some of her family’s fondest memories were visiting and enjoying her baked Ziti. She also loved to crochet, which started in her childhood. She crocheted doll clothes with her sister and sold them. Her love for crocheting then continued throughout her life.
Marie was a loyal member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Deltona, Florida and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
