Marie A Blakeney's Obituary
Marie Blakeney 97 of Debary, passed away on August 23, 2023. She was born on June 14, 1926, in Staten Island, NY to parents Romeo and Maria Montouri. Marie is survived by nieces, MaryEllen Monteleone, Mindy McCracken, Judy Petosa and Suzette Tirelli; nephews, Anthony (Karen) Monteleone and Andrew (Renee) Monteleone; great-nephews, Luke, Michael, Daniel and Matthew; and many more nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her husband, William Blakeney; parents; brothers, Sebastian, Philip, Baby Andrew and Andrew; sisters, Carmela and Anna. Marie worked as a secretary for Our Lady Mt Carmel in Staten Island for over 20 years and was a lifetime member of the CCW at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and was loved by many. Many thanks to the caregivers and Vitas hospice nurses for the care that was given to Marie. A Visitation will be held 10:00am-11:00am with a 11:00am Funeral Mass Thursday, August 31, 2023, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood trail, Debary, Fl 32713. Date of Mass has been changed due to predicted storm.
