Lydia Esther Lopez's Obituary
Lydia Esther Lopez 97, of Deltona passed away on September 23, 2021. She was born on September 15, 1924, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to parents Manuel Rodriguez and Maria Julia Cintron Rodriguez. Lydia is survived by her children, Ferdinand Lopez, Jr and Julieann Lopez; grandson, Ferdinand (Freddy) Lopez III; many nieces, nephews and family members. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ferdinand Lopez, Sr; parents, Manuel and Maria Julia Rodriguez; brothers, Manuel Rodriguez and Frankie (Hector) Rodriguez; sisters, Selina Delgado and Alice Jorge; In-Laws, Pablo and Anastasia Jorge, Michael Jorge, Ethelbert Delgado, Nelly Rodriguez and Peter and Hilda Blaschick. Lydia enjoyed animals, drinking coffee, spending time with family and got joy in feeding and cooking for everyone who entered her home. A Visitation will be from 10:00am to 10:30am, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Baldauff Family Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Boulevard with a Funeral Mass to follow, 11:00am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona, Florida 32725. Interment will be 11:00am, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Fl 33513. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude at www.stjude.org/donate or the ASPCA at www.aspca.org/donate. Masks will be required at the Funeral Home, Church and Cemetery.
