Louis 'Mike' Miller's Obituary
Louis “Mike” Miller died peacefully in his home in the arms of his devoted wife of 36 years Mary Lee “Leah” on Friday, November 10, 2017.
Born in Arkansas to Elmer and Vera Miller, he is preceded in death by his brother Ed. He is survived by a sister Doris, brother Jim, and his loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Mike retired from the United States Air Force after serving our country for over 20 years. As an active SMSgt he was a positive influence to the men and women under his command. Many friends and neighbors throughout the country and world will miss him.
Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, computer technology and starting and finishing many projects around the house. He was an avid reader which led him to further his education and pursue many new interests. Mike was a compassionate supporter of local and national homeless shelters for women, children and animals.
Mike and Leah served together in the military and traveled throughout their careers. Their travels continued through retirement and the loving memories will always be treasured.
Visitation will be held from10-11AM with an 11:00AM Funeral Service on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Baldauff Family Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Fl 32763, officiated by Chaplain Shane Gaster. Burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Friday, November 17, 2017.
