I attended his Dad's church at Brookfield, Missouri... Larry and his sister Beverly were such good kids and a blessing to all of us. So proud that Larry became a pastor like his dad... I know that his mom and dad are glad to see him and we pray for his wife and family that the Lord will touch their hearts with comfort and peace knowing they will see him again soon.... Blessings
I am so saddened to hear of this. I wish I could be there for your family and the service. I loved Pastor Meeks so deeply, and thank God he was part of my life. He is responsible for helping put my name in the lambs book of life, he baptized me when i was 12 in Tulsa, OK. Thank you Lord for preparing a place for us and letting us have such a wonderful messenger of your love.

Pastor Larry Meeks blessed the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area where we live with several years of rich ministry. Later he served as a pastor in Springfield, Missouri. My youngest daughter attended his church while she was a student at Evangel University. Our prayers are with his family during this time of great loss.
