Ken 'Cozzy' Cosgrove's Obituary
Ken “Cozzy” Cosgrove passed away November 22, 2014. Ken was born March 2, 1937 in Orange, New Jersey and raised his family in Ogdensburg, New Jersey before moving to Deltona in 1978. Ken leaves behind his beloved wife Janice of 56 years, his daughters Linda Babcock and Laura Kimble of New Jersey; son, Steven Cosgrove of Tennessee; sister Jaqueline Shields of Maryland. He is pre-deceased by Deborah Cosgrove, Kenneth Edward Cosgrove, and sister May Wolley. Ken also leaves behind his grandchildren; Nichole and Kelly Babcock of New Jersey, Kirsten Childres of North Carolina, William and Jennifer Kimble of Virginia, and Jake and Lauren Cosgrove of Tennessee; great grandchildren Sean, Kiera, Addison and Nariah of New Jersey. Cozzy proudly served in Korea in the U.S. Army; and in 2008 was awarded the “Deltonan Florida’s outstanding Korean War Veteran” of chapter 153. He was an active member of the VFW Post 8093 Central Florida. A visitation will be Tuesday, November 25 from 7-9PM at Baldauff Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Blvd. Orange City Fl. A prayer service will be held at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL. 32129.
