Joseph Woodward Raiche Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph Woodward Raiche Jr. 84 of Orange City, passed away December 24, 2015. He was born on September 21, 1931 to Joseph and Zeola Raiche Sr in Rutland, Vermont. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Joseph W. Raiche Sr. and Zeola Raiche. He is survived by his wife Patricia, children Joyceann Roberts of Wallingford, VT, John J. Raiche of Fairbanks, AK, Lynn Carrara of Weare, NH, Louis Allen of Benson, NC, Brenda Lanfear of Cuttingsville, VT, Donna Parker of Benson, VT, Michael Allen of Tinmouth, VT, Cindy Miller of Clayton, NC, and Brian Allen of Felton, DE; Brothers Leon Raiche of Pensacola, FL, and Wilbur Raiche of Ira, VT; Nineteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Joseph graduated from Wallingford High School and worked as a Vermont farmer and mechanic and was employed by Clarendon Fire Department as a volunteer fireman. A memorial service will be held 2 pm on Saturday January 2, 2016 at the First Congregational Church of Orange City, 201 West University Ave. A graveside service will be held 2 pm Saturday January 16, 2016 in the East Clarendon Cemetery in Vermont.
