Joseph Alexander Nieves' Obituary
Joseph Nieves, 82 of Deltona passed away March 26, 2025. He was born June 26, 1942
in Brooklyn, New York to parents Mario and Grace Nieves.
Joseph is preceded in death by his wife Gracemarie. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Tyler and her husband Joe Tyler; grandchildren Christine, Jennifer and her husband Sim Ho; brother Ray.
Joseph proudly served in the United States Army in the 1st Calvary Division and also served
in Vietnam. He was an usher at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. Joseph was an
avid cruiser, enjoyed golf, bowling as well as a casino player.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1st 2025 and Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at Baldauff Family Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida with a Funeral Mass to be held Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona, Florida followed by a Burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5521 U.S. Highway 1, North, Mims, Florida
