José G. Rivera Vicente's Obituary
José G. Rivera Vicente, born in Cayey, passed into his eternal rest on May 24, 2026 in Deltona, Florida at the age of 76. José was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on January 22, 1950 from parents Ramona and Maximino Rivera.
José was educated through what he called the “School of Hard Knocks,” where he learned the values of perseverance, dedication, and integrity that guided him throughout his life. Those qualities helped him build a successful career as a Regional Manager at Xerox, where he earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike through his leadership and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, José lived life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He enjoyed construction projects and was known as a talented handyman who could fix or build just about anything. A true car enthusiast, he appreciated craftsmanship and the joy of the open road. José was also a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and loved spending time golfing whenever he had the chance.
José found happiness in the simple and meaningful things in life. He enjoyed raising chickens, caring for horses, and spending time outdoors. Above all else, he was a devoted family man whose love, guidance, and humor will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
José is survived by his wife, Betsy Rivera; children; Fabian (Wife, Coriza), Erick (Wife, Jennifer), José (Wife, Yvette), Marisol (Wife, Glory), Julio (Wife, Jessica) and Antonio (Wife, Yamisell); brother, Angel Gabriel; sister, Ana Angelica; Grandchildren, Jordan, Blake, Joseph, Joel, Aleisha, Gabriel, Anthony, Rico, Sophia, Luna, Kael, Angelica and Ezra; Great-granchildren, Juliana and Amaia; as well as extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ramona Vicente Maldonado and Maximino Rivera Diaz; as well as Miguel Santiago, Pedro L. Santiago, Rafael Santiago and Rico Lester Rivera.
Jose Rivera will be remembered for his hard working spirit, generous heart, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness and dedication. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
