John Sebastian Rinaldo Sr. 88 of Deltona, Florida passed away on June 9, 2019. He was born on December 23, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to Sebastian John Rinaldo and Mary Sacco. John is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Carmela “Millie” Rinaldo. He is survived by his wife Florence “Flo” DeNicola; children Debra A. DeGelormo (Gene), John S. Rinaldo Jr. (Sharon), Michael P. Rinaldo, Carol Shamis (Elliot); grandchildren, Matthew DeGelormo, Leslie DeGelormo, John S Rinaldo III, Robert Rinaldo, Kimberly Rinaldo, Sophia Rinaldo, Michael S Rinaldo, Julia Rinaldo, Brianna Guevara, Emily Shamis; great-grandchildren, Ethan Olavarria, Leah Olavarria, Ella DeGelormo, Kash DeGelormo, Presley DeGelormo. John is retired and was employed by Camera Graphics. He also volunteered as a fireman with the North Highlands Fire Department. John proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree, VFW, North Highlands Fire Department, Plainview Fire Department and Association of Retired NYC Firemen-Palm Coast, C.O.P. Sheriffs Office in Deltona. John enjoyed nature and bird watching.
