John Clifton Hartwell's Obituary
John Clifton Hartwell, 67, of Deltona, passed away on September 17, 2020. He was born on April 8, 1953, in Harrisburg, PA to parents Clifton Brewer Hartwell and Ida Annette (Osborne) Hartwell. John is survived by his wife, Susan Elizabeth (Heister) Hartwell; children: Christopher Todd Hartwell of Douglasville, GA; Nicholas Adam Hartwell of Deltona, FL; Pollyanna Joy Robelen of Biloxi, MS; Jennifer Lynn Huffman of Christiansburg, VA; Elizabeth Marie Hartwell of Deltona, FL; Timothy Joel Hartwell of Harrisonburg, VA; Carolyn Grace Hartwell of Deltona, FL; Patrick John Hartwell of Douglasville, GA; Daniel Isaiah Hartwell of Harrisonburg, VA; and Melissa Leigh Derkovic of Deltona, FL; brothers: William Hartwell of PA, Thomas Hartwell of OH, Charles Hartwell of PA, and Peter Hartwell of PA; sisters: Jannette Eshleman of PA and Kathleen Kathmann of ID; and 2 grandchildren: Kaitlyn Huffman and Ezekiel Mendez. He is preceded in death by his son, Phillip Matthew Hartwell (Jan 22-24, 1979) and his sister Mary Overacre. John attended Holy Spirit Hospital School of Radiology and worked at Morningstar Sonography as an Ultrasound Tech. He was a member of ARDMS and SDMS who enjoyed going out to dinner with his wife, driving his children to all their activities, and traveling to visit family. He also enjoyed going to yard sales treasuring hunting, gardening, house repairs/painting, Dale Earnhardt “8”, jigsaw puzzles, and collecting rubber ducks.
