John 'Jack' A. Morris' Obituary
John (Jack) A. Morris, of DeBary, passed away on April 2, 2012 in Sanford. He was the son of the late Patrick and Carrie Morris; born in Poughkeepsie, NY, on March 21, 1926. He married Mary Talaber on March 31, 1951 in the Church of the Nativity, Poughkeepsie.
He served in the U.S. Army with the Military Intelligence, ASA; and attended St. Peter’s School, Poughkeepsie High School and Iona College.
He was predeceased by 5 sisters: Helen diGennaro, Hilda O’Loughlin, Myra Long, Jean Ringwood and Marlene Soloway; 3 brothers, Patrick, James and Nelson. He is survived by his brother Noel Morris, Poughkeepsie. Survived by his wife, Mary Morris of DeBary. 2 sons: John (Theresa) Morris, Poughkeepsie and Peter (Rhonda) Morris, DeBary, 4 grandchildren: Stacey, and John; Poughkeepsie, NY and Caitlin Rose and Sean Patrick, DeBary, FL and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on April 9 at St. Ann Catholic Church, DeBary at 11 a.m.. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
