Jesus R. Ortiz, 79 of Deltona passed away on June 2, 2022. He was born on August 26, 1942 in Cayey, PR to parents Jesus Reyes Ortiz and Amalia DeJesus Roman. Jesus is survived by his wife, Carmen Ortiz; children, Yvonne, David, Lauren and Myrna; brothers, Efrain and Ruben; sisters, Gloria, Nilda, Nereida and Carmen; 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. He loved the N.Y Mets baseball team and was very creative and enjoyed inventing things. A Visitation will be held 8:00pm-11:00pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Funeral en Cayey, 209 Jose de Diego, Cayey, PR 00736. Interment will take place, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Jardin del Eden Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
