Jerome D. Kiely, 75 of Deland passed away on May 15, 2019. He was born on June 4, 1943 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to parents John and Josephine Kiely. Jerome is survived by his wife Kathryn Kiely; children, Donna (Mike) Lyn Austin, Jerome D. Kiely, Jr., Florence M. (Robert) Lawson, Paula D. Semple; brothers, Thomas Kiely; sisters, Evelyn V. Buchanan, Agnes Kiely; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Jerome retired from the Florida United Methodist Children's Home and served 21 years as a Army-Navy Veteran. He was a member of VFW as well as the Masonic Order. He enjoyed wood working. A Memorial Service will be 1:00pm, Friday, May 17, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Deland. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to thumbsupmission.org in Gainsville, GA.
